The Maintenance Technician II installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, and electrical systems in a safe manner. Technicians may specialize in one or more areas listed below. Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm with training on 1st shift for approximately 3 months What you will do: Electro-Mechanical Installs power supply wiring and conduit for existing or newly installed machines and equipment. Installs supply wires to machines and equipment; connect cables and wires between machines and equipment. Diagnoses & repairs malfunctioning equipment & apparatus’ such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures. Replaces damaged or broken electric motor bearings, wires, and cables. Tests malfunctioning machinery and troubleshoots malfunctions with other maintenance workers to diagnose and determine corrective actions. Diagnoses and replaces faulty electrical machine components such as relays, switches and motors and positions sensing devices, using machine schematics or PLC devices. Creates wiring plans layouts, installs wiring, conduits, and electrical apparatus in buildings. Creates lay out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. HVAC Installs power supply wiring, conduit, compressed air and other utilities for newly installed machines and equipment. Tests and diagnoses malfunctioning machinery and collaborates with other maintenance technicians to develop and install proper repairs. Replaces faulty electrical and mechanical components of machines such as relays, switches, motors, sensors, bearings, and other electrical and mechanical devices. Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Repair or replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment. Replaces air conditioner filters, damaged ceiling tiles, floor tiles and wall coverings. General Maintenance Replaces air conditioner filters, damaged ceiling tiles, floor tiles and wall coverings. Replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment. Installs and aligns drivelines. Purchases appropriate parts to repair, replace or otherwise make functional any of the above-mentioned areas. Works on cross functional teams comprised of engineering and manufacturing resources on electrical projects. Assists with training and providing guidance to other technicians as needed. Performs, assists, and guides repairs, installations and troubleshooting of all Company equipment with contractors and other Company personnel. Performs preventative maintenance activities in accordance with established schedules. Performs all duties within Quality guidelines, ISO 13485, and other client requirements. Performs routine building maintenance. Documents work performed and submitted completed work orders in a timely manner. Follows all applicable Company work instructions, S.O.P.’s, and guidelines.
