You complete service requests, preventative maintenance, and full turns with confidence while helping maintain high operational standards across the property.

Requirements

• 2+ years maintenance experience required (multifamily preferred).
• Intermediate-level skills across multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
• Working knowledge of appliances.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• This position will require availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Active participation in team functions and regional or company activities is expected.
• This position necessitates regular periods of sitting, standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching as well as use of hands and arms.
• The role may require lifting 50 pounds independently.
• The ability to respond promptly to both visual and auditory alarms is essential.
• Specific vision requirements include the ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• The team member must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet.
• Working at a personal computer for administrative tasks and using mobile devices while in the field is required.

Nice To Haves

• Universal EPA Certification is preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification is preferred (where applicable).
• Comfortable diagnosing routine HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues.
• Ability to complete full make-ready turns independently.
• Safe use of meters and diagnostic tools.
• Proficient with work-order systems and basic computer and mobile technology.
• Solution-oriented and self-directed.

Responsibilities

• Independently complete service requests and make-ready turns.
• Diagnose and repair intermediate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and building inspections.
• Participate in move-in/move-out inspections.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Respond to on-call and emergency service requests.
• Demonstrate safe operation of tools, diagnostic equipment, and chemical safety procedures.
• Maintain personal tool inventory.
• Complete required safety and compliance training.
• This role may include additional duties consistent with the position.
• Professional communication with residents and team members.
• Take ownership of assigned work.
• Supports and guide Technician I team members when needed.
