A Day in The Life of a Maintenance Technician II As a Maintenance Technician II, you execute a wide range of routine and preventative tasks involved with basic property maintenance such as interior and exterior painting, replacing lightbulbs, checking emergency lighting, and replacing filters. You also quickly respond to resident requests to repair entry gates/doors, sheetrock, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC and heating systems . As you complete property maintenance, you always provide exceptional customer service. And you take pride in preparing apartments for new tenants. Each shift brings a combination of daily checklists, occasional tasks, and unexpected surprises. You love that you are never bored!
