This position is for a Maintenance Technician II who will be responsible for the general maintenance of all facilities on property and the property itself, including identifying and correcting deficiencies. The role involves maintaining, repairing, and replacing gaming table layouts with instructions from a supervisor, and requires knowledge of HVAC systems, alarm systems, and generators to identify and diagnose deficiencies. The technician will perform mid-level to advanced painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other maintenance projects. The role also includes assisting with creating and following preventative maintenance schedules, maintaining a spotless casino environment, and ensuring the safety and security of all guests and employees. The position requires proficiency in English (verbal and written), flexibility to work various shifts, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to obtain and maintain a 1055 gaming license and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Physical demands include the ability to push and pull up to 250 pounds, lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds (and up to 250 pounds with assistance), and perform repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and kneeling. The technician must also be able to safely work with cleaning chemicals and equipment, ascend and descend stairs while maintaining equilibrium, and work from standing, sitting, or walking positions for extended periods. The work environment is smoking and pet-friendly.
