Apply now and be part of our journey to success. We are looking for a Mid-Level Maintenance Technician to join our team at Mountain Run at Boyne in Boyne Falls, MI. In this role, you would be responsible for maintaining the guestrooms, public spaces, and back of the house areas in good repair, ensuring an attractive and well-maintained property with your primary focus on guest relations and problem resolution. Work well with customers and team members and drive company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards. Schedule Details: Full - Time; 6:30am-3:00pm, including weekends and public holidays. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in facilities maintenance
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate well with guests in English
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
  • Able to climb stairs and work on ladders up to 40 feet. Can push/pull up to 100 lbs. lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and grasp, stoop, and reach overhead

Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including painting, stucco, drywall, staining, knockdown, and popcorn ceiling repairs.
  • Interact with guests to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Troubleshoot and repair basic appliances and air-conditioning controls.
  • Conduct plumbing repairs, including drain cleaning and filter changes.
  • Maintain and repair guestroom and public space equipment, including caulking, tile/grout, door hardware, and pest inspections.
  • Replace light bulbs, ballast, remote batteries, and cosmetic appliance components.
  • Repair furniture, drapery tracks, and wallpaper; perform touch-up painting and staining.
  • Complete scheduled preventative maintenance and replace faulty plumbing components.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment function accurately and safely.
  • Communicate effectively with engineering leadership and assist teammates on special projects.
  • Respond to guest requests with a positive demeanor and team spirit.
  • Accurately detail maintenance activities and inspections in English.
