Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Heat treat furnace experience required
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Experience with CMMS or similar maintenance tracking systems
- Solid understanding of safety standards, including lockout/tagout procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in industrial environments
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and on-call shifts
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks
- Willingness to stay current with emerging maintenance technologies and industry best practices
Nice To Haves
- Certification in industrial maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems (OSHA, EPA, or similar)
- Experience with PLCs, BAS, or industrial control systems
- Prior experience in manufacturing or large-scale industrial maintenance
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and furnace systems, including HVAC systems, motors, pumps, compressors, and heat treat furnaces
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment and machinery to ensure minimal operational downtime
- Assist in installation, calibration, and testing of new equipment
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs using CMMS
- Collaborate with senior technicians to resolve complex maintenance issues and improve processes
- Replace worn or damaged parts, such as belts, bearings, seals, valves, and electrical components
- Support emergency repairs, ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Contribute to preventive maintenance programs and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Maintain inventory of tools and parts for efficient workflow
- Provide guidance and support to junior technicians when needed
