About The Position

The AZEK Company/Timbertech Wilmington division is seeking a Maintenance Tech II for their Prairie Avenue facility. This role is for a high-energy, motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Requirements

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Computer skills to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
Ability to show constant learning and improvement in working with and troubleshooting: Electrical, Electronic, Motor Controller Drives, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings or an approved plan to learn how to read and understand drawings
Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
Strong mathematical skills
Success in planning, executing and managing projects
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upward and downward to a wide range of audiences
Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment
Will meet qualification and certification requirements established by TimberTech's Training Resources and Knowledge (TRAK) program
Forklift experience required with the ability to complete TT Forklift Certification program
High school diploma or GED, required.

Nice To Haves

Enrollment in advanced education and/or related certification(s) a plus
Experience in a similar position a plus
Strong background in manufacturing systems in dynamic fast-paced manufacturing environment, a plus
Working knowledge of extrusion process, twin screw setup, blending system a plus
Knowledge of PLC Logic technology, a plus
Enrollment in Facility Maintenance Certification course, a plus
Stick and wire welding experience with structural welding certification preferred

Responsibilities

Ensures production lines and other equipment are maintained and able to run at all times with some assistance.
Shows consistent desire, learning, and improvement in all maintenance responsibilities, duties, and tasks.
Assists in developing and prioritizing work orders with Maintenance Manager, Production Supervision and Line Leads.
Completes work order requests as defined by Maintenance Manager, Productions Management/Supervision, and/or Operators within the level of their current abilities.
Supports workplace organization programs (6S) and production efficiency programs (TPM).
Assists operators in daily preventative maintenance (CIL) checks
Leads preventative maintenance process on the shift within the level of their current abilities.
Supports in line commissioning after maintenance/process events
Leads and supports other plant projects as needed
Operates in a manner that provides value to the team
Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management
