About The Position

The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing a wide variety of maintenance duties at SunCommons, a 103-unit affordable housing community in North Hollywood, CA. This role requires the technician to repair and maintain property items independently, ensuring the upkeep and functionality of the community's facilities. The position emphasizes a commitment to quality service and timely completion of maintenance tasks, contributing to the overall mission of EAH Housing to empower residents and enhance their living conditions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of related apartment maintenance experience.
• Knowledge and skills in plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation.
• Basic computer skills; knowledge of Yardi Voyager is a plus.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform all facets of lock and key replacement/repair, including weather stripping, door and window functioning, and locks.
• Conduct all interior repairs related to walls and doors.
• Execute electrical repairs including fixtures, lights, plugs, and switches.
• Change AC filters, check coils, and clean and repair as necessary.
• Perform annual unit inspections.
• Ensure the turnover of units within 5 days.
