About The Position

Eureka Multifamily Group is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician II to support and oversee maintenance operations across multiple communities in the Aliquippa, Pittsburgh, and Toledo markets. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong technical abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while ensuring properties are maintained to the highest standards. The Maintenance Technician II will assist in coordinating maintenance activities, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely completion of service requests while delivering excellent customer service to residents.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of maintenance experience in multifamily housing or a related field
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems (EPA Certification preferred)
  • Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general carpentry
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (regional travel required)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed

Nice To Haves

  • EPA Certification (Type I & II or Universal)
  • CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification
  • Experience working across multiple properties or in a regional role

Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair across assigned properties
  • Respond promptly to service requests and ensure completion within company standards
  • Conduct routine inspections of buildings, systems, and common areas to identify maintenance needs
  • Assist in coordinating and prioritizing work orders across multiple sites
  • Support preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of property assets
  • Ensure vacant units are turned efficiently and ready for occupancy
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent
  • Assist with vendor coordination and oversee contracted work when needed
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards, policies, and local regulations
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
