About The Position
The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and equipment. This mid-level position requires a solid foundation of technical knowledge and experience, allowing the technician to work independently with minimal supervision. This position will be based in the Rod Mill, functioning as a Millwright/Maintenance Technician II. The technician will be expected to demonstrate strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, supporting the operation and upkeep of heavy industrial equipment in a demanding production environment. The Maintenance Technician II plays a vital role in ensuring equipment and systems run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all applicable regulations. The role may also involve assisting senior technicians and participating in facility-wide maintenance and improvement projects.
