The Maintenance Technician is expected to perform HVAC emergency, routine, and preventive maintenance including changing filters and belts while maintaining safety, communicating effectively, and training employees.

Requirements

• Ability to perform HVAC emergency, routine, and preventive maintenance.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to train employees.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 - 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform frequent and continuous computer-based work.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC emergency, routine, and preventive maintenance including changing filters and belts.
• Support the R D Lab with daily problem solving.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, quick fixes, and repairs.
• Fill in for facilities personnel as needed.
• Move office or conference room furniture.
• Maintain rooftop units and overhead doors.
• Assist with other facilities maintenance functions.
• Conduct general facilities repairs such as painting, wallpaper repair, and bathroom fixture repairs.
• Perform HVAC equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct water testing and learn the procedure.
• Manage office furniture moving and disposal.
• Perform facility cleaning both inside and outside.
• Manage trash and recycle removal.
• Conduct snow removal and grass cutting, trimming, and cleanup.
• Maintain landscaping and parking lot cleaning.
• Perform painting including cleaning and prepping.
