About The Position

The Maintenance Technician II position at Caruso USA involves maintaining industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The role requires working on both 1st and 2nd shifts, with the possibility of weekend work as needed. Requirements

• 5 years of experience in maintenance, specifically in manufacturing environments.
• Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and reading schematics.
• Some vocational or community college coursework related to the field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance, inspections, and service on machines.
• Cleans machines and machine parts, removing and reinstalling parts as necessary.
• Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
• Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
• Orders and installs replacement parts for machines.
• Identifies causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines and repairs them quickly and efficiently.
• Prepares reports documenting work performed.
• Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
• Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
• Collaborates with product manager or plant engineer regarding new products and necessary modifications.
• Makes modifications and implements test runs, conferring with product manager regarding test results.
• May use equipment like forklifts, aerial lifters, and cranes to move heavy machinery.
• May perform welding, fabrication, or calibration as needed.
• Follows all work site safety requirements and regulations.
