We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Level 1 Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to grow their career in industrial maintenance. You’ll be responsible for performing basic maintenance tasks, assisting with equipment repairs, and supporting the overall upkeep of the facility.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Preferred certificate: 24-hour Haz-Mat training.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Technical training or coursework in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the maintenance field.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, pneumatics, or hydraulics.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Assist senior technicians with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance area.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns.
• Document maintenance activities and report issues to supervisors.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
