The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Technician I is to ensure exceptional guest and homeowner services by effectively maintaining the machinery, equipment, and infrastructure within their designated scope. The role is vital in upholding an efficient, dependable, safe, and conducive environment for our esteemed homeowners, valued guests, and respected team members. The Maintenance Technician I is expected to have the highest level of skill and professionalism of our technicians.
Requirements
- Valid Hawaii Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
- Strong mechanical ability
- Experience in areas such as building maintenance, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, air conditioning, masonry, painting, carpentry, and basic lock repairs
- Proficient skills set in the safe use of tools and other materials required to perform maintenance tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to manage projects and establish priorities with diverse timelines and responsibilities
- Extensive experience in problem solving, investigation and research
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and lead projects
- Proactive approach to problem solving and resolution
- Ability to work cohesively with team members
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of 2-year college degree with 4 years of experience in related field preferred
