We are looking for a Maintenance Tech I to join our team at Sunrise Ridge Resort and become the heart of exceptional guest experiences. Our Resort is located in Pigeon Forge, TN and easily accessible from both Sevierville and Newport. Our resort features 132 condo units spread across 24 acres, all offering stunning mountain views. In this role, you will help bring vacation dreams to life by maintaining the guestrooms, public spaces, and back of the house areas in good repair, ensuring an attractive and well-maintained property with your primary focus on guest relations and problem resolution. Work well with customers and staff members and drive company success through performing the tasks to the highest standards. Requirements

Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate well with guests in English
High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in facilities maintenance
Ability to climb stairs and ladders up to 40 feet, push/pull up to 100 lbs., lift/carry up to 50 lbs., and perform grasping, stooping, and overheard reaching with or without accommodations.
Able to walk/stand for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

Valid Driver's License
CPO Certified, Preferred

Responsibilities

Inspect guestrooms, public spaces and back of the house areas to repair.
Perform unit PM's.
Perform daily pool cleaning and chemical checks.
Mechanical room inspections, checking walkway lights, fire extinguisher checks.
Emptying trash cans, clean grills, wipe down outdoor furniture
May be required to do other duties and special projects as assigned by your leader.
