Pay: 19.00 hourly As a Maintenance Technician I, you will be an integral part of the Hotel Blake team, responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the hotel's facilities. Your role is crucial in ensuring a seamless guest experience and a safe, comfortable environment for our guests and staff. You will work closely with the maintenance team to address any issues and ensure timely resolutions. Requirements

Journeyman Apprentice status, as recognized by Local 399 Union.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and technical manuals.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general handyman tasks.
Respond to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Inspect and maintain hotel equipment, such as kitchen appliances, laundry machines, and fitness center equipment.
Conduct regular safety checks and identify potential hazards, taking necessary actions to mitigate risks.
Assist in minor construction projects and renovations, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and work orders.
Ensure a clean and organized work environment, adhering to Hilton's standards of cleanliness.
Attend training sessions and stay updated with industry best practices and safety protocols.
