Operates, maintains, and repairs mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other related equipment to ensure its safe and efficient operation Responds to tenant requests in a courteous and efficient manner and report unresolved issues to Foreman/Lead Takes readings on equipment regularly, analyzes readings, and makes adjustments to equipment as needed Assists with maintenance and operation of chillers, boilers cooling towers, and related equipment Solves problems with building fire and energy management systems Inspects and tests elevators, fire pumps, generators, carbon monoxide sensors, and other facility equipment Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and six (6) month’s related experience or an Associate’s/Technical school degree
  • Must be able to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holiday as needed
  • Must obtain and maintain one of the following: Mechanical journeyman license with the State of Oklahoma or a State boiler license and first-class ltd. engineer’s license
  • Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Needs basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
  • The ability to: Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
  • Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed
  • Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
  • Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
  • Use hand tools

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical journeyman or engineers’ license
  • EPA refrigerant certification
