About The Position

Southwood Gardens/Square is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, safety, and cleanliness of our residential community. This role includes both maintenance and janitorial responsibilities, ensuring a well-maintained and welcoming environment for residents and guests. On-Call Requirement This position requires 24/7 on-call availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to respond to maintenance emergencies as needed. Monthly mobile phone allowance is provided.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of residential or apartment maintenance experience required
  • Strong skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
  • Ability to perform janitorial and grounds maintenance duties as needed
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license required

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC, OSHA, or related certifications a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems
  • Diagnose and repair maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of interior and exterior common areas
  • Complete minor carpentry, painting, appliance repairs, and general maintenance tasks
  • Support janitorial duties as needed to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Manage maintenance supplies, inventory, and documentation of work orders
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies
  • Provide support and guidance to junior maintenance staff when applicable
