Maintenance Technician I
About The Position
Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic Maintenance team. Position: Maintenance Technician Location: The Sedona, our 240-unit luxury residential community located in Tampa, FL (Oldsmar area) 33635 Work Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm, on-call/weekend rotation required About Us: At Richman Property Services, Inc., we strive to provide high-quality apartment communities that our residents are proud to call home. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
- Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
- Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred, however if you have the right skills, experience and drive, we may consider a non-EPA hire, and then sponsor/pay for the EPA within your first 75-days on the job.
- Valid Driver's License required
- Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
Responsibilities
- Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
- Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
- Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
- Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
- Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
- Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
- Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
- Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development
- Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
- Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
- Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime
