Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia and Westchester County. Sun River Health is currently seeking a Full Time Maintenance Technician I to join our team in our Wappingers Falls, NY site. Under general supervision uses limited experience and judgement to Performs a variety of building and maintenance duties; operate hand and power tools
Requirements
- High school diploma/ GED
- 2-4 years
- Valid Driver’s License
Responsibilities
- Performs maintenance tasks related to basic lighting, plumbing and structure of the sites
- Moves furniture or equipment and supplies around health center as directed
- Maintains the outside areas of Sun River Health sites as needed including sidewalks and parking lots such as snow removal, etc
- Coverage of after-hours emergencies
- Perform basic rough carpentry and plumbing functions
- Operate gas-powered equipment
- Basic knowledge of mechanical layouts (HVAC, plumbing) within Sun River Health sites
- Responsible for fleet vehicle maintenance. This is limited to 1 staff member
- Acts as the warden during Sun River Health codes
