About The Position

Requirements

• Education : High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• Experience : This is an entry level position and does not require prior industry experience.
• License Level: Must be able to get TCEQ D Water license within 6 months.
• Computer Skills: Basic Skills
• Certificates & Licenses Valid Texas Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Responsible for water line and sewer repairs, new line installation, taps, flushing valve maintenance, and plant equipment maintenance.
• Maintains work truck and tools.
• Inspects and maintains pumps, motors, valves and blowers in working order, troubleshooting problems as they arise.
• Pulls motors and pumps for repair, to include wiring and fabrication of parts as necessary.
• Replaces valves.
• Repairs fire hydrants.
• Assist plant operations as required.
