Responsibilities: Participate in all safe start meetings. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations Follow 5S standards to maintain work area. Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. Perform regular preventative maintenance based on PM schedule. Locate sources of problems by observing and listening to mechanical devices in operation Complete pre-operation equipment inspections and report any issues identified. Trained to set up, adjust, and operate all basic machine tools. Prepare maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends Assists with the installation of new production equipment and required infrastructure Read and interpret work instructions, then execute work per instructions Other duties as required. Experience and Skills: HS Diploma or equivalent preferred Related degree from a technical college, a plus 1 year of proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or internship while attending technical college preferred Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance Ability to work in a fast-paced environment safely and efficiently Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 40 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
