About The Position

The Maintenance Technician 1 at Great Wolf is responsible for overseeing the daily engineering operations within the lodge. This role includes project management, general life safety, vendor coordination, and performing preventative maintenance and repairs across hotel guestrooms, public spaces, equipment, and grounds.

Requirements

• Technical Degree
• Technical Training
• Trade Related Certifications
• Hospitality, Healthcare or related industry experience
• Trade related certifications preferred in HVAC and/or Electrical
• Valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

• Experience in hospitality or healthcare industries
• Knowledge of database software and order processing systems
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings.
• Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment, plumbing, and electrical components.
• Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using approved communication programs and standards.
• Ensure all work performed is conducted in a safe and timely manner adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain working knowledge of departmental safety procedures and attend safety-training programs as required.
• Maintain necessary service records on mechanical and structural systems.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures for park operation, employee relations, timekeeping, and safety.
• Perform other duties as deemed appropriate by the Assistant Director of Engineering.
