About The Position

The Maintenance Technician I, On-Call Tournament Worker position involves supervisory and manual work in landscape and park maintenance across various County properties. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and willing to learn.
  • Experience in groundskeeping or similar maintenance work is preferred but not required.
  • Possession of a valid Florida driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and participate in landscape and park maintenance on various County properties.
  • Plan, assign, and supervise the work of a group of employees engaged in routine groundskeeping tasks.
  • Maintain lawns and grounds of various County sites.
  • Pressure wash outside County facilities and clean boardwalks and walk bridges.
  • Set up facilities for reserved gatherings and maintain ball fields during tournaments on weekends and holidays.
  • Keep records and make reports to administrative superiors.

Benefits

  • Hourly wage of $15.98 with no benefits.
