Performs basic repair, adjustment and minor construction work in the basic trades to ensure that facilities are properly maintained. Assists more skilled staff in the completion of larger and more complex assignments. Duties may fall into a variety of trades, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical. Performs basic repair, adjustment, maintenance and installation in a multitude of disciplines that may include but are not limited to HVAC, Pneumatics, Explosion Suppression, Fire Control, Cooling Towers, Chillers, Overhead Doors, and general tasks not otherwise assigned (furniture moves, rack repair, safety railings and barriers installation and removal, etc.). Assists with safety and regulatory requirements within the facility to include but not limited to Hazardous Waste movement and storage, RO Water monitoring, Sprinkler System maintenance and monitoring.
