Requirements
- No specific education, training, or experience is required for entry to this class.
- Regular and Reliable attendance is required.
- Must have a valid driver's license and pass a federal criminal background check.
- Must have a basic knowledge and skills of cleaning
- Ability to work with chemicals, use, operate and maintain several type of floor equipment.
- Install, Replace and adjust worn parts, etc.
- Must have the skills to understand oral and written instructions, perform manual labor.
- Must be capable of working individually, or as a member of a team.
- Must possess a wide range of knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals and safety practices.
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping experience in a 24 hour, 7-day a week facility.
Responsibilities
- Laundry
- Wiping down surfaces and walls
- Emptying trash
- Cleaning windows
- Cleaning bathrooms
- Sweeping
- Mopping
- Vacuuming and cleaning carpets
- All other duties assigned within the scope of the classification.
