About The Position

The Residential Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of residents in upscale apartment communities. This position involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with the property management team to maintain high living standards for residents.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential maintenance, preferably in upscale apartment communities.
• Strong knowledge of basic maintenance, including drywall repair, plumbing, electrical, and appliance troubleshooting.
• HVAC experience is a big plus.
• Basic carpentry and painting skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability for on-call and emergency maintenance as needed.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance are required.

• Experience with electric golf cart operation in CA.
• Living within 35 minutes of the community.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential apartments, common areas, and facilities.
• Conduct inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems.
• Perform painting, carpentry, and drywall repairs as needed.
• Assist with apartment turnovers and ensure units are in top condition for new residents.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and equipment.
• Collaborate with the property management team and fellow maintenance staff.
