About The Position

The Maintenance Technician at Hilton Scottsdale Resort & Villas is responsible for maintaining the hotel, pool, and surrounding areas. This includes performing minor and routine tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, HVAC functions, and other related maintenance activities using hand tools. The technician will notify management of any major repairs needed for lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment, and respond to guest requests for service according to company policy. Additionally, the technician will keep records of completed rooms, program phone equipment as per hotel needs, observe equipment and utility meter readings daily, and maintain files of Material Safety Data Sheets. The role requires ensuring par stocking of regularly used parts and supplies and learning emergency procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of previous repair/maintenance experience required.
  • Technical licenses such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing are helpful.
  • Ability to understand and use specifications.
  • Ability to work to precise measurements.
  • Ability to use arithmetic to measure and compute materials.
  • Ability to lift and move materials and products.
  • Ability to climb and balance self.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
