The Operations Maintenance team is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment, including warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management, as well as demand, supply, and manufacturing planning.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience, preferred.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Performing repairs on various pieces of distribution center equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, electric pallet jacks, scrubbers, wrapping machines, and conveyors.
• Repairing and replacing common parts including wheels, brakes, batteries, bearings, gearboxes, rollers, belts, motors, photoeyes, and relays.
• Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Maintaining spare parts inventory and shop supply stock inventory, while keeping record of parts used on work orders.
• Utilizing maintenance software to maintain accurate records of repairs done on all equipment.
• Utilizing a variety of hand/power tools and material handling equipment to perform job duties.
• Setting up and starting machinery for scheduled distribution teams.
• Performing all generalized facility maintenance/repairs as needed.
• Maintaining a clean work environment including complying with all Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
