About The Position

Come and join The Connally Hotel Downtown ATL right by Underground. Our 156 room 17 story hotel needs a Maintenance Tech who get help keep our hotel up and running and help our overall maintenance team. · Assist with maintaining hotel, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities. · Replace air conditioner filters. · Tend, air conditioners, cooling towers and boilers to provide heat, cool air, and hot water for guests. · Maintain standards of quality guest service. · Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development. · Respond and resolve guest requests,plaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner. · Must have aprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectivelymunicate with guests, associates, and vendors. · Ability to accurately report information. · Ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures. Attend required meetings. · Projects and assignments arepleted thoroughly, professionally, and with care. · Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change. · Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development. Conducts him\herself (acts and dresses) professionally at all times; sets standards for all associates.

Requirements

  • Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.
  • Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
  • Hearing, writing, typing.
  • Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.
  • Must have aprehensive knowledge of maintenance duties and tasks
