About The Position

Support production of Comfort Food products through the repair and maintenance of production machinery and facility.

Requirements

• Industrial electrician with a strong mechanical background
• Knowledge of common maintenance practices and procedures
• Electrical education/training
• Experience performing maintenance on industrial machinery
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints
• Ability to use meters and test equipment
• Knowledge of voltage controls- 480v, 220v, 110v, 24v and 12v
• PLC experience in a high pressure fast paced environment
• Electrical trouble shooting experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours
• NOTE: This role will require extended hours based on production needs, including work to be performed after regular business hours and on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot various types of meat processing equipment
• Perform building maintenance
• Follow preventative maintenance schedule for processing equipment
• Follow lockout/tag out procedures when performing maintenance on all machinery
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Follow GMP/HAACP procedures
• Assist with other tasks as assigned
