About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of production machinery through maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role plays a critical part in maintaining high-quality standards, minimizing downtime, and supporting overall production efficiency.

Requirements

  • AAS Degree in Mechatronics or Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Maintenance with 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Proven skills in repairing and maintaining electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, micrometers, calipers, multi-meters, and other test equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in industrial settings
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willing to work 12-hour rotational shift pattern including days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on production machines to ensure smooth operation.
  • Identify potential breakdowns and replace or adjust machine parts as needed.
  • Implement machine improvements to enhance quality, increase production levels, and reduce breakdowns.
  • Maintain a high level of machinery availability to support production goals.
  • Keep the workplace clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards on a daily basis.
  • Execute planned maintenance activities, including preventive and predictive maintenance.
  • Accurately report all performed work in SAP-PM, including work order confirmations and spare parts reservations.
  • Collaborate and provide support to Continental Business Teams as required.
  • Take ownership of personal safety and adhere to all safety protocols.
  • Ensure accurate time attendance records.
  • Report any unsafe situations or behaviors to the supervisor promptly.
