About The Position

The Maintenance Technician at Greystar Real Estate Partners is responsible for performing technical and mechanical work to ensure that the physical aspects of the property, including buildings, grounds, and amenities, meet the company's standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role involves completing work orders, preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant apartments for leasing, while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Requirements

• EPA Refrigeration Certification (Type I and II or Universal).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Entry-level experience in maintenance or a related field.

• Experience in property management or real estate maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service and performs preventative maintenance on the property.
• Completes the 'make-ready' process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins.
• Follows procedures for accessing and obtaining materials, supplies, and equipment from the maintenance department.
• Completes documentation and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner for service requests.
• Assists in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by performing cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Supports cost-cutting and expense control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
