About The Position

To perform repair work spanning multiple trade crafts such as electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical and refrigeration. To inspect equipment located in mechanical rooms.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED and one (1) year of maintenance experience.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings or their structures.
• Knowledge of machines and tools to include uses, repair and maintenance.

Nice To Haves

• Vocational or technical certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor repairs to ensure machines run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
• Performs inspection of equipment room and other inventories.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
• Inspects drives, motors, and belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, and performs other maintenance activities.
• Ensures proper care in the use of equipment and supplies; complies with workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Documents work performed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Completes and documents work performed in a timely manner and maintains quality standards.
• Meets safety guidelines; compliant with accrediting and licensing organizations.
