About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting with facility and equipment maintenance as related to the chemical stripping operation.

Requirements

• Ability to bend, twist, climb, stoop, or stand.
• Ability to spend time sitting at a desk or workstation.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Natural mechanical aptitude.
• Understanding of proper safety practices and use of required PPE.
• An essential function for this position, based on business necessity, is that the employee must be physically in attendance at his/her workstation at the designated company office location during normal business hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on all equipment as instructed.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed in a prompt and accurate manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities on a regular basis.
• Work safely and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with leadership and team members.
• Understand and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Work as needed to ensure the facility and equipment remain operational.
• Take a proactive approach to spare parts management and machine uptime.
• Perform strip line operator duties when maintenance tasks are complete.
• Train as needed on new machines and/or processes.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
