About The Position

The Maintenance Technician at Greystar is responsible for performing technical and mechanical work to ensure that the physical aspects of the property, including buildings, grounds, and amenities, meet the company's standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role involves completing work orders, preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant apartments for leasing.

Requirements

• EPA Refrigeration Certification Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in property management or maintenance.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service and preventative maintenance on the property.
• Completes the 'make-ready' process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins.
• Follows procedures for accessing and obtaining materials, supplies, equipment, and tools from the property's maintenance department.
• Completes documentation and other paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assists in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by performing general cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Supports cost-cutting and expense control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
