The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and maintaining related equipment, providing preventive maintenance, and facilitating repairs as required. They also maintain a safe and clean work environment, test new equipment, and ensure continuity among work teams through documentation and communication.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
3-5 years’ experience of maintenance construction field or more
Must have the manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, able to use power and hand tools, required crouching and/or crawling, and able to use a ladder
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities and ability to work independently in high priority, confidential, demanding business environment
Must have a valid driver’s license and must be insurable as a driver
Must be computer literate in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Nice To Haves

Experience in telecommunications is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Maintains equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and maintaining related equipment; provides preventive maintenance
Facilitates repairs as required
Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
Test new equipment as directed
Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs
Have some computer knowledge to email, and use forms that are computer related to Circle K
Will be required to participate in training for existing and new equipment
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Increases professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to Company plan guidelines
