Now Hiring 1st Shift, Full-Time, Maintenance Technician- Building & Machinery at Cozzini, LLC in Elk Grove Village, IL Reason for opening is due to a Promotion! 1st Shift: 6am- 2:30pm is the typical 1st Shift time. We are hiring for a Building & Machinery Maintenance Technician whose primary responsibilities include but are not limited to installing, maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe and electrical systems in the building. Must meet the following Requirements: · Minimum of 3 years’ Maintenance experience within a manufacturing facility. · Minimum of 3 years’ experience with the following: Maintenance on: Press Brakes, Laser cutters, Blanchard, Welding Equipment, Lathe, Milling, and Sand Blast Equipment, small Packaging machines, forklifts, and preventative maintenance on cranes. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and Lockout/Tagout procedures. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols while performing maintenance tasks. · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (under 5% of time). Use of PPE and lifting equipment otherwise. · Ability to read Schematics and blueprints. Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed. Physically capable of standing and/or walking around for extended periods of time, drive forklifts and scissors lifts, and able to work at heights on ladders and occasional outside work. Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a Team environment. Computer literacy with at least a basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications. Word, Excel, and Email, and Internet. Authorized to work in the U.S. Ability to communicate effectively and has the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety, operating, maintenance and procedure manuals. Must have a broad mechanical and electrical aptitude. Ability to understand Basic English. More about the opportunity: · Visually inspect and test all machinery and equipment. · Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts. · Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery. · Install and repair electrical components. · Repair and maintain structure of building, such as electrical lighting and plumbing, and dry wall. · Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts usage, and maintenance activities. · This position is performed in a manufacturing environment where exposure to machinery, noise, dust, grease, and moving mechanical parts is expected.
