About The Position

The Maintenance Technician assists by performing all aspects of maintenance and repair work on all mechanical, structural, and electrical equipment and systems on assigned locations. The role involves receiving direction from the Maintenance Manager and assisting in the overall maintenance and repair of the assigned unit’s operations. Responsibilities include conducting scheduled inspections of designated buildings and equipment, checking and repairing equipment malfunctions, changing lightbulbs, oiling/greasing gears, and performing basic floor care for the Carousel. The technician must respond immediately to resolve emergency facility needs/issues regarding safety, security, and business requirements. Additionally, the technician is responsible for locking and securing all buildings and facilities, monitoring, activating, and resetting automatic security systems as appropriate. The role also includes assisting the Manager with inventory/security of supplies to ensure they are adequate for the maintenance of units, maintaining a safe facility environment, and notifying the Manager of any unusual events or safety issues. The technician represents the company in a professional manner at all times and maintains the company’s image when interacting with clients, guests, associates, and vendors.

Requirements

  • Partial High School education; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of jumper system, drive system, sweep system, and electrical systems.
  • Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record required.
  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • Ability to recognize and communicate problems to management.

Responsibilities
