Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of apartment maintenance experience or equivalent preferred.
  • Current Valid Driver's License.
  • EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong proficiency in property management software (preferably Entrata Yardi and/or One Site).
  • Advanced communication and delivery skills.

Responsibilities

  • Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service within 24 to 48 hours.
  • Completes the 'make-ready' process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins.
  • Supports cost-cutting and expense control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts.
  • Follows procedures for accessing and obtaining materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and other items from the property’s maintenance shop.
  • Completes documentation and other paperwork in a timely, accurate, and complete fashion.
  • May periodically inspect work performed by contractors, vendors and other service providers.
  • Complies with RangeWater Residential’s safety and risk-management policies.
  • Demonstrates customer service skills by treating residents and others with respect.
  • Assists in conducting routine and periodic property inspections in person.
