Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
  • Good physical stamina, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks efficiently
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed
  • Willingness to travel between work sites or facilities if required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in facility or industrial maintenance
  • Basic understanding of preventive maintenance processes and equipment life cycles
  • Familiarity with maintenance safety procedures and best practices
  • Ability to read basic blueprints, manuals, and maintenance logs
  • Exposure to CMMS or work order systems
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Basic familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools to monitor mechanical and electrical system performance

Responsibilities

  • Assist in inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment
  • Support senior technicians in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and applying corrective actions
  • Help install and set up new machinery and equipment
  • Respond to maintenance requests and perform minor repairs and adjustments
  • Replace worn parts, repair leaks, and assist with basic electrical circuit repairs
  • Maintain organized tools, parts, and maintenance equipment
  • Accurately document maintenance activities and parts usage using CMMS or work order systems
  • Follow established maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Properly use and maintain tools, machinery, and safety equipment
