About The Position

As Maintenance Technician Assistant, you will assist others in planning and coordinating the maintenance activities for a facility to ensure safe, efficient and quality work is performed. Cleaning and maintaining building mechanical and electrical rooms as well as performing various maintenance tasks as needed are key responsibilities. Requirements

  • Required: High school diploma/GED and a minimum of six (6) years related experience
  • Demonstrates outstanding organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application
  • Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record
  • Must be willing to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holiday as the need arises
  • Must be willing to work flexible and rotating shifts

Responsibilities

  • Assists the building technicians with maintenance and repair of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems and other related equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Cleans and maintains building mechanical and electrical rooms
  • Re-lamps lights in the building mechanical and electrical rooms
  • Assists light porter with difficult to reach lighting
  • Paints in mechanical rooms as needed
  • Assists with restroom maintenance as needed
  • Picks up parts as needed in company vehicle
  • Other duties as assigned
