About the position
The Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship Program is a year-long, paid apprenticeship designed to provide on-the-job training and classroom instruction in maintenance and technical operations. Responsibilities
- Provide tools, materials, and recordkeeping assistance to maintenance personnel.
- Assist in repairing electrical components and completing facility projects.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar industrial, manufacturing, or maintenance environment is highly recommended.
- Basic math skills and entry-level computer proficiency preferred.
- Effective communication skills in English or Spanish; bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.
- Physical capability to handle the job's demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
