The Maintenance Technician position at Greystar involves performing technical and mechanical work to ensure that the physical aspects of the property, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet the company's standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role is essential for maintaining the property and ensuring resident satisfaction through timely repairs and maintenance tasks.

  • Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service and performs preventative maintenance on the property.
  • Completes the 'make-ready' process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins.
  • Follows procedures for accessing and obtaining materials, supplies, and tools from the property's maintenance department.
  • Completes documentation and other paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assists in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by performing cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Supports cost-cutting and expense control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
  • Must have EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
  • Must have all certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
  • Must have a valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
