About The Position

The Maintenance Technician (3rd shift) at RBC Bearings is responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency of CNC and production equipment through preventative and breakdown maintenance. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and effective communication while managing maintenance tasks and supporting production schedules.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of maintenance experience or an associate degree in Mechatronics
• Minimum of one year of CNC maintenance experience
• Ability to work in the US without Visa sponsorship
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent mechanical and math skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System and/or SAP
• Ability to understand OEM machine manuals and drawings
• Experience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC, production, and building equipment
• Conduct breakdown maintenance on CNC equipment, diagnosing and repairing defective parts
• Interpret hydraulic and electrical drawings for diagnostics
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems with CNC machine tools
• Maintain positive working relationships across the facility
• Support spare parts storage and organization
• Coordinate and prioritize work to meet production schedules
• Support and execute CNC machine rebuild and reconditioning projects
• Prioritize and confirm work orders using SAP
• Utilize operational knowledge of CNC and robots for maintenance activities
• Document and communicate maintenance issues during breakdowns and PM activities
• Operate equipment including forklift and man lifts
• Work effectively in a team environment
