About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring facility and manufacturing equipment are operating safely and efficiently, ensuring the highest level of productivity possible. The Maintenance Technician helps to troubleshoot and repair maintenance equipment at the basic level.

Requirements

• Electrical and mechanically inclined
• Ability to follow specific detailed instructions
• Must be able to adjust work speed accordingly and work in fast-paced environment
• Work well with others, team oriented, strong communication verbal and written

Nice To Haves

• 2-year electro-mechanical degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Repair & perform preventative maintenance on processing and facilities equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment at a basic level
• Respond to manufacturing requests over the radio for machine service
• Generate list of repairs needed or machine service requests that can be done on slower processing days
• Evaluate and prioritize task list and perform work accordingly
• Keep work area clean, follow GMP, and wear appropriate PPE
• Other duties as assigned
