About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining all production equipment, support equipment, and building maintenance as directed by the supervisor. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that all machinery and equipment are functioning optimally and that safety standards are upheld within the facility.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Minimum Associate Degree or equivalent experience in maintenance.
• Experience in an industrial production environment desired.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Flexible schedule and willing to work overtime on short notice.
• Knowledge of safety in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Complete all preventive maintenance activities assigned by supervisor.
• Oil, grease and clean all areas as needed through work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair all machinery and equipment as generated by work orders.
• Insure safety and housekeeping standards are met.
• May be assigned out-sort work, programs, and/or training, due to upgrades of job title as assessed by management team.
• Review and function with various maintenance documents.
• Complete additional work assigned by supervisor and/or management team.
• Must have basic knowledge of TS16949 and know the Quality Policy.
• Follow the safety rules, report safety problems and all injuries, regardless of severity.
• Ensure plant safety and 5S housekeeping standards are maintained.
