About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on the company’s equipment, machinery, and facility. This role includes both light and heavy equipment work, following established procedures and adhering to safety standards. The position operates on the 2nd shift from Monday to Thursday, 3 PM to 1 AM, with overtime expected on weekends.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience.
• Some prior maintenance experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine inspections and maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
• Performs minor repairs and preventative maintenance according to procedures to ensure minimal downtime of equipment.
• Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the facility, including doors, windows, and flooring.
• Installs equipment, components, and systems with and without outside services.
• Identifies and reports potential safety hazards.
• Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, and inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Inspects tools, parts, and equipment regularly to ensure good working condition, and requests replacements as needed.
• Follows all safety regulations and wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Other duties as assigned.
