Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance on buildings including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs.
  • Repair electrical switches, outlets, and fixtures.
  • Conduct semi-skilled plumbing work including the repair and replacement of plumbing fixtures.
  • Perform carpentry work such as repairing walls, windows, and doors.
  • Execute preventative maintenance tasks including filter changes and inspections.
  • Maintain and repair various floor coverings like carpeting and tile.
  • Repair roof coverings including composition and shingle roofs.
  • Operate and maintain maintenance tools and equipment such as power saws and drills.
  • Contribute to the overall success of Facility Services by performing other assigned duties.
