About The Position
The Maintenance Technician 2 will provide assistance in all aspects of maintenance such as welding, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics.
Requirements
- 4 years of Maintenance Tech experience (internally) or 5 years previous documented industrial maintenance or millwright or welding experience within other manufacturing facilities
- Industrial maintenance or millwright or welding experience within other manufacturing facilities
- Advanced mechanical aptitude
- Proficient in MIG and TIG, stick welding, torching plasma, and fabrication
- Self-starter, dependable and work well with other team members.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
- Preventive maintenance/repair mobile equipment, furnaces, power supplies and plant operational equipment
- Complete work orders & PM paperwork
- Welding and fabrication
- Follow all safety, health, and environmental processes
- Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position
- Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes
